Bug Description

Binary package hint: usplash

Ok no. of things happened, this happened atleast 2 restarts back. Then I tried sending the info. through apport when firefox was running but it could not. Then exited everything, had a graceful shutdown (obviously without the usplash but then never had usplash running) . Then restarted the system, logged in after that no screen at all, waited for some-time after which the system re-started again. This time I took the 2.6.20-12-generic and hence was able to log in to X . touched usplash and sent the info. through apport, this time firefox came about.
