update usb.ids file to latest version

The file /var/lib/misc/usb.ids connects vendor:device pairs with the human-readable strings in the output of lsusb...
This file is maintained at http://www.linux-usb.org/

The latest version is v 1.370 2008/08/29, while on Intrepid I still have v 1.348 2008/05/10

Please update to the latest version...

This file is actually provided by the package usbutils (dpkg -S /var/lib/misc/usb.ids) so I am changing the package to usbutils.

Same here, updated by running:

sudo update-usbids

then to check the new file

head /var/lib/misc/usb.ids

how would you feel about adding a cron job, maybe weekly, to run "update-usbids"? this would make this issue redundant...
