Missing MBIM (Mobile Broadband Interface Model) support

The USB Communications Device Class "Mobile Broadband Interface Model" (MBIM) is the USB-IFs alternative to the current chipset/vendor specific solutions to "Mobile Broadband" device management. The specification, including the management protocol description, can be downloaded from http://www.usb.org/developers/devclass_docs#approved

A new project similar to libqmi needs to be created:

Usb-modeswitch-data might have upstream what it needs. Quoting https://launchpad.net/debian/+source/usb-modeswitch-data/20121109-1:

MBIM support is now merged into ModemManager git master, and a preliminary version of libmbim is already available:

Cdc_mbim module is included in Ubuntu 13.04.
