- Huawei E392 is not recognized as Mobile Broadband + Huawei E392 is not register to mobile broadband network |
This is now fixed in Ubuntu 12.04. Both kernel 3.2 and usb_modeswitch have support for Huawei E392.
Hoever it does not still work. When the USB dongle is inserted, network manager recognizes it properly, runs the mobile broadband wizard etc but when it finally is time to connect, it just keeps connecting forever. Apparently registering to (4G/LTE) network does not work.
I tried from the settings to force it to 3G or 2G but that didn't work at all.
