This is probably a usb-modeswitch-data issue in Precise. The device appears to have been added in the package in Quantal: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-modeswitch-data/20120529-1 Should this bug be reassigned to the usb-modeswitch-data package?

It is 2 years since the DWM-156 was added to the usb_modeswitch data package and this bug is still open?
There has been many updates since usb_modeswitch ver 1.23 and data package 2012-01-29, what is the Ubuntu developers definition of LTS?
