Bug Description

I created a USB installation stick with Ubuntu 10.04.3 on it, using Startup Disk Creator and the image downloaded from ubuntu.com. The process went slow, but with no error output.
Now, when I try to boot on that key, I have the following written of my screen, before anything else:

SYSLINUX 4.04 EDD 20110518 Copyright (C) 1994-2011 H. Peter Anvin et al
Unknown keyword in configuration file: gfxboot.

(etc)

Tested on two different machines ; an Acer laptop and a Lenovo desktop.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. The Ubuntu 10.04 desktop release is EOL as is the 11.10 release.

There is a a similar bug here if you still have this issue on newer releases. : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-creator/+bug/1325801
