Bug Description

the image I selected was ubuntu-10.04.3-amd64-desktop. I checked the md5sum and shows the image is ok.
after the crash, app-port asked me to report the bug. But after it collected the infomation, it failed saying:

The problem cannot be reported:

The program crashed on an assertion failure, but the message could not be retrieved. Apport does not support reporting these crashes.

I don't see anything useful in the usbcreator log file attached to this report so it would be helpful if you could recreate the situation and include the contents of the assertion error. Thanks in advance.

I tried many times and now I think I find the reason, and the bug can be
reproduced every time.
It's because the iso file is in a ntfs partition that not mounted before i
use the file picker widget to select the file. Though the file picker can
auto mount the file system when you click on the label in the left side, but
this will cause the usb-creator a crash when selecting a file. But if I
mount the file system use nautilus before I pick a file in the fs, it will
be all ok.
