2011-02-27 13:33:12 Fabio Marconi description Binary package hint: usb-creator Hello I'm blaming usb-creator because i can reproduce this issue only using persistence, but probably the root cause is on another package. Step to reproduce: - Create a Usb key with persistence using startup disk creator (0.2.23) - Run it, at the first screen don't touch any key and let it go on automatically - In the newer window of selecting language and try or install Ubuntu, select what you want, processes starts, but this window will stay on the monitor and nothing will change, see attached screencast. For some seconds i'm able to switch to TTY and browse syslog, but no error are detected, till the point that if I type nano /var/log/syslog, it reply that there are too many opened files on the system, see attached photo. But if instead I start the Usb key and at the first screen (the old menu) i press a key and select language and try Ubuntu everithings works and I have my live session. Well it seems a problem at that window then, but it isn't so, because if I create a Usb key without persistence and i run it when I came to that window i can select and everithing works.
