Bug Description
I have a Dell Inspiron 15, using Maverick. I have kubuntu installed. When I use usb-creator-kde I get an error 'Failed to install bootloader'. I try unetbootin and when I boot from the usb drive no operating system is found. Both used to work in Lucid. I found that formatting the usb partition with fat32 works, anything
else does not. With fat32 I can successfully use usb-creator. I
installed a clean version of Ubuntu on a separate drive, neither usb-
creator or unetbootin worked.
usb-creator-kde Version: 0.2.25
unetbootin Version: 494-1~maverick1
kernel 2.6.35-22-generic
affects: | ubiquity (Ubuntu) → usb-creator (Ubuntu) |
