I downloaded the live CD on April 20th. The Startup Disk Creator now comes up.
When I try to create a startup disk on a usb drive I get the message:
"An uncaught exception was raised [Errno 5] Input/Output error".
I tried 3 times and got the same result all the time. The error always occurred when I reached the 60% mark.

Exactly the same problem:
Downloaded CD on april 29th, make a USB bootable and at 60% I get the same error.

I can confirm this bug as well on a 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04. The program unetbootin gave no errors with the same hardware configuration.

Ubuntu 10.04 beta 2
Startup disk creator does not work.
I am running beta 2 from the live CD.
I have clicked on Startup Disk Creator and nothing happens.
This appears to be a regression from beta1
