Ubuntu Netboot/Minimal CD Image does not work with usb-creator

Steps to reproduce:
1) Download Ubuntu 9.10 Minimal CD (Network Install CD) from https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD
2) Open usb-creator-gtk
3) Click on Other...
4) Select the freshly downloaded mini.iso
5) Click OK

Expected: ISO is added to top "Source disk image (.iso) or CD" pane.
Result: No image is added to the top pane.

Tested with 32bit Karmic mini iso, same problem here in Karmic (64 bit).

The mini ISOs don't have a .disk/info, nor do they put their configuration in the isolinux directory.

Clean usb-creator log attached.

Deleted the previous log and repeated the actions of clicking "Other", selecting the mini.iso image file, clicking OK and nothing showing up.

Also the Netboot/Minimal CD image for Lucid 10.4 is not recognised.

Same with oneiric, can somebody write down whats needed to get around this limitation?

I have the same problem too. USB-Creator does not recognize/add to the list of images (Oneiric). Hope you can fix this or someone offer a workaround.

even worse if someone start gtk creator with.
usb-creator-gtk -i mini.iso
then the application does't say that it has selected another image that what was specified.
At least it should output an error message

The following combination works for me.

LiLi usb creator 2.8.21 and Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" Minimal CD 32-bit (x86)
