Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-creator
Starting with a USB stick without a valid partition table, I selected the device and click the Format button. The device is then partitioned. I see the partition listed with sfdisk -l , for example as type
W95 FAT32 (LBA)
usb-creator never recognizes the device as formatted. Once I did see that the partition on the device was listed in the device selection frame. Formatting the partition caused it to disappear in the frame. It is unable to recognize the device as formatted, even upon restart of the program.

This is only a usability bug and I think developers must consider and solve.
In fact you must choose /dev/sdX1 device and not /dev/sdX device.
For a better user experience, after formatting, usb creator must show only the partition and not the device.
Just my two cents.
