Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-creator
I was able to create an persistence USB-Stick with 8.10. But now in 9.04 the usb-creator doesn't create it any more. With 8.10 I could chose for example 1GB for local settings and the stick gets a file with this amount. All changes were stored there. Now this fix file is not created any longer.
1.) Plugged in a USB-Stick
2.) Clicked System -> Administration -> USB start up disk
3.) Clicked Other... and browsed to my iso-file
4.) Set 3GB "Stored in reserved extra space" setting
5.) Clicked Make Startup Disk
6.) Booted into LIVE environment
7.) Created a test.txt file in the Documents folder, saved and closed it
8.) Shutdown laptop and unplugged USB disk
9.) Plugged USB disk back in and booted back into LIVE environment
10.) Checked the Documents folder, and test.txt wasn't there :-(
