Bug Description
System:
Kubuntu 9.04 (KDE 4.2.2) AMD64
Repositories: Main, Universe, Restricted, and Multiverse enabled
Updates: security, recommended, pre-release, and unsupported enabled
I tried to install usb-creator with apt-get today
~$ sudo apt-get install usb-creator
It installed successfully, but I could not launch the program. It would fail to start from the K-menu. From the terminal, I would get the following error.
~$ sudo usb-creator
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/
from usbcreator.
File "/usr/lib/
import gnomevfs
ImportError: No module named gnomevfs
I fixed the problem by installing python-gnome2. This seems to be a missing dependency.
This bug is still in Kubuntu 9.10 (beta) as tested with a daily-live CD image.
