I sending an attachment with the ~/.usb-creator.log file.
I would like doing an amd64 usb startup disk with official Jaunty image with 2 GB Kingston Data Traveller pendrive.
I try doing with the startup disk with following command:
usb-creator -i jaunty-desktop-amd64.iso
I choosing the Usb device, setted up storage space with maximum value with slider and clic the start button.
The application beginning installation, but the task is not finished, the error message says I look the ~/.usb-creator.log file for more information.
I looked the log file, and I see one traceback message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/usb-creator/install.py", line 156, in <module>
    main(source, target, persist)
  File "/usr/share/usb-creator/install.py", line 134, in main
    popen(['dd', 'if=/dev/zero', 'bs=%sM', 'of=%s/casper-rw' % target, 'count=1' % persist])
TypeError: not all arguments converted during string formatting

The application does'nt crash, correct work the quit button with the error message dialog. All updates are installed my system.
Next two comment I sending two screenshot. The first screenshot showing the setted up window before start, the second screenshot showing the error message dialog.

Only the persistent mode not work. If I use the second value with radio
button (drop documents), the installation is completed, but the maked
startup disk does'nt boot my machine.

Another problem, autorun does'nt work with Windows. Autorun.inf contains:
[autorun]
open=wubi.exe --cdmenu
icon=wubi.exe,0
label=Install Ubuntu

telescope,

Your error appears to be in gobject itself, and is most likely fixed in more recent versions. However, please feel free to reopen this bug report if you are able to reproduce this issue in usb-creator 0.2.7 (from Karmic). This would indicate that this is actually an issue with the data usb-creator is feeding to GTK+.

Attila, your bug was fixed in a previous version of usb-creator. However, please file a separate bug report if you are still having trouble with usb-creator 0.2.7.

Thanks!
