Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-creator

my 2GB SD card is recognized in my laptop via the build-in sd card reader and can be read from/written to, usb-creator does not allow using it as a device to create the iso on. But when the same card is inserted in a USB-stick adaptor, which then is inserted into the laptop, I can use this device to create the iso on.

Why the detour? All netbooks seem to have a t least one sd card reader?

This is fixed in Karmic. usb-creator will happily write to anything devicekit considers a non-system-internal device.
