Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-creator

I think it is a huge problem that usb-creator does not have a Windows port yet. If Linux is required to use usb-creator a Windows user will still need to burn a Ubuntu (or other Linux distro) ISO image to a CD, which defeats the whole purpose of being able to replace CD's with USB flash drives entirely.

usb-creator for Windows was created during the Ubuntu 9.10 development cycle. It will eventually be added to the website in some form, but until that happens, new builds can be found at:
http://people.canonical.com/~evand/usb-creator/karmic/
