Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-creator

This is a wishlist item:

In order to have a live system that can be used for real-world browsing (including sites like YouTube; see Linus Torvalds' comment on this topic) some users would like to have Adobe Flash on their system.

The liveusb tool includes a checkbox which, when checked, will download and integrate Flash into the live USB system. The same could be applied for other non-free but often-requested software as well.

Matt Zimmermann: "I can understand the desire to have some ability to customize the live image from usb-creator. Distribution terms should not be at issue here, because usb-creator isn't distributing software, just helping the user to create a file (right?)."

Fabian Rodriguez: "Similar situation with DVD playback, same situation with Broadcom firmware, msttcorefonts, etc., not so with codecs."

Looks like people are not seeing any legal or other blockers.

Also, my apologies. Clearly you were right on this.
