The main window shows the following texts:
- "To try or install Ubuntu from a removable disk, it needs to be set up as a startup disk." Actually, the software can create a bootable/startup device with any OS, not only Ubuntu.
- "Source disc image (.iso)". The software supports not only ISO images but also IMG. I suggest changing this text to just "Source".
- "CD-Drive/Image". Today, we can boot the computer from many kinds of devices: HDs, CD, DVDs, pendrives, SD cards, etc. I suggest changing this text to "Image File".
Instead of the button label "Other", I would suggest "Open File" or "Choose File".
- On top of the second frame, I suggest replacing "Disk to use" to "Destination".
My system info:
- Package: usb-creator-gtk Version: 0.3.7
- Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (Focal Fossa)
- GNOME version 3.36.3
- Theme: Dark
- Windowing System: Wayland |
