Bug Description

Hi

I've tried in vain to launch the Ub20.04 live-key in order to install and test on HP Envy x360 15w100nf born in 2016. But I have nothing but a black screen all process long, even after 10 minutes waiting when I decided to stop it !!

I already had a Pb of log which swelled quickly, whose solution was given by a forum.
At startup I entered in the boot menu: "e" > line linux > pcie_aspm = off

Is there another trick so that I can test this version on this damn PC?

It works fine on Asus 2010

Thanks for your help

Hi
I made a new live key with today's update kernel (2020-01-27), and now I can start live key but after a few seconds the screen is frozen, the mouse is not effective on any icon

My previous post (#1) was referring to Asus which worked fine before, not the HP which still doesn't start

Another point to clarify the situation
The HP which doesn't start is EFI
The Asus laptop and a tower, self mounted, which work fine, are MBR.
Does it help ?

Hi
I come back to the HP of the top list. I've tried again on today's version (2020-02-16). I saw a new kernel coming up, but no change. The screen remains all black for ... ever !!
