Bug Description
manish@SR1931IL:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu Saucy Salamander (development branch)
Release: 13.10
manish@SR1931IL:~$ apt-cache policy usb-creator-common
usb-creator-common:
Installed: 0.2.48
Candidate: 0.2.48
Version table:
*** 0.2.48 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
What I expected to Happen:
When creating the USB disk, after it was written the Finish Dialog should end and I should get the "please remove the usb disk and put it into the computer you would like to start it with" (or something to that effect)
What Happened Instead:
I was creating a Raring 32-bit bootable-usb-disk from an iso file kept in home folder ( The ISO file is correctly downloaded as i verfied it from its checksum ) . The process went on smoothly with copying of files and installing of boot-loader. But after that there was no confirmation of completion of process. When checked in terminal , following output was obtained :-
manish@SR1931IL:~$ ps -ef | grep usb-creato[r]
root 2599 1 0 11:02 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/python3 /usr/share/
Output of command " sudo lsof | grep -w 2599 " is attached with the bug as the file lsof_usb_2599 .
