usb-creator doesn't open

When I try to open usb-creator I've the following error: An error occurred while talking to the udisks service.

I have a similar problem that has existed on Kubuntu 13.04 with usb-creator-kde. The version is 0.2.40ubuntu1 and the error when I use the menu and select Start DIsk Creator is:

An unhandled exception occurred: 'str' object has no attribute 'left'.

I look forward to this being fixed soon and I hope this helps locate the problem.

Sorry, the version of usb-creator-kde that is causing the problem that I just reported is 0.2.43 and NOT 0.2.40 which is the version that I have on Kubuntu 12.10
