Bug Description

I fire up the usb startup disk creator, insert a pendrive. It's recognized. It doesn't have enough space.

I click "erase". It starts to do something, the LED on the pendrive blinks a few times and I see a spinning wheel on the "Erasing" button. After a while, a big error message pops up:
"""
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
"""

Same problem here, using Kubuntu 14.04. Tested the usb disk creator by launching it from the command line. This is the output:

On a side note, the drive I am trying to erase is completely free, but the "Make Startup Disk" button is disabled. I tried filling it with an empty fat32, ntfs or ext4 partition and I tried with no partitions at all, but the button is always disabled.

Hope this helps.
