Boot is delayed when ureadahead is not profiling

Bug Description

See the attached bootchart for details: there is an idle 25 seconds gap present there, but when I deleted ureadahead's pack file, it disappeared.

Well - is that really idle? There is heavy disk-io during the ureadahead period, and isn't that the whole point of ureadahead - to read in everything that the other processes are about to need?

In the 37 seconds to 62 there is no activity, that's the gap I'm talking about.

hmm ok. Note the peak at about 50s; when nm-dispatcher.a exits; I guess that's an interesting point to figure out why it's waiting - for network? Still doesn't answer what it does from 50-62.
