Bug Description
Binary package hint: upstart
Hi,
we setup our computers by a network install system using preseeding. After the debian installer has finished there are some scripts to configure the machines which use 'in-target' to chroot into the target and much more. We also run 'apt-get dist-upgrade' at some point during 'preseed/

--- End
The machine get's restarted and the system is left unusable.
Removing 'edgy-updates' from /etc/init.
We don't know if the problem is 'upstart' or in-target, but in-target normally interrupts calls to the start-stop-daemon. It's also not a good idea to reboot the system during 'apt-get dist-upgrade'.
As you can see it's an edgy problem.
Greetings
Marcel
