Bug Description
== Availability ==
Available in Universe today. Source code is available in Launchpad and is part of the Ubuntu QA Team's daily build infrastructure.
== Rationale ==
The package is a set of Upstart jobs and helper scripts to allow Upstart to be used to start applications in a recreatable and confined way. It provides the starting point for application confinement in Click packages and for Ubuntu Touch.
While the majority of the currently building Ubuntu Touch items are in Universe this needs to be in main because other packages that are already converged with desktop (and thus in main) need to use it in the situation that they're on a phone.
== Security ==
There is no security history, but it is a critical component for ensuring application confinement. Numerous reviews have been requested (and items fixed) from the Ubuntu security team during development.
== Quality Assurance ==
The package is part of the daily testing and the integration testing and Click package testing. I think that we need to add internal format testing (evil desktop files) as well to ensure the helpers are robust, but they use stable parsers (GLib) that are already well tested.
== UI Standards ==
N/A
== Dependencies ==
Heavy dependency on Upstart and GLib. Both in main. Also uses Zeitgeist for logging, also in main.
== Standards Compliance ==
No known violations.
== Maintenance ==
Maintained by Canonical.

Has a testsuite, builds in main, packaging is sane. Simple package and is something I've reviewed, used and helped with design. Man pages are missing for various binaries, but won't block the MIR on that. While indicator- applet- developers is subscribed, it would be good to get dx-packages or some similar team subscribed.
Conditional ACK provided a team is subscribed. Marking 'In Progress'-- please feel free to move this to 'Fix Committed' once the team is subscribed.
