Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Most noticeable is, that my mouse hangs every 30 sec.
How I reproduce this problem and make it visible:
1. start glxgears
2. move the mouse in circles
3. mouse should hang every 30 sec. you should also see a drop in fps in glxgears
This is the terminal output:
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.153 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.151 FPS short mouse hanger
295 frames in 5.0 seconds = 58.951 FPS lower fps
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.153 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.151 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.151 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.149 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.152 FPS short mouse hanger
293 frames in 5.0 seconds = 58.553 FPS lower fps
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.150 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.150 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.154 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.151 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.151 FPS short mouse hanger
294 frames in 5.0 seconds = 58.752 FPS lower fps
If I do not move the mouse I don't have any hangs.
I am not 100% sure if this problem is related to xorg but I have tried a newer kernel (2.6.39-daily) and several older versions of xserver-
I think some updates from last week (4–7 Apr 2011) introduced this regression.

As it seems this problem comes from the CRT hotplug detection. crt_detect] , CRT not detected via hotplug
I have booted the kernel with this option "drm.debug=0x06" and now I see this message in my logs:
kernel: [ 833.140022] [drm:intel_
As a workaround I have tried to execut this command: drm_kms_ helper/ parameters/ poll
echo N > /sys/module/
but this didn't help. It had no effect the message was still in my logs.
I also asked on irc #intel-gfx for help but got no answer so far.
