[vivid] After resume, upower reports critically low battery

Ubuntu Vivid 15.04

Reproduce (often):
1. Close lid
2. After some time, open lid.

What happens:
I get a notification that the battery is critically low and the laptop hibernates.

What should happen:
The laptop should not hibernate.

This is a upower dump from a normal situation. I will try to record a dump in an abnormal situation where the laptop is about to shut down.

This is a upower dump from an abnormal situation where the battery is known to be at 53% (and it's recorded 6 minutes after the one above), but still is being reported as critical and subsequently puts the laptop to sleep:

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I've also encountered this bug, first thinking it was a bug with the KDE battery indicator applet. Upower is giving incorrect energy-full values when this is happening. I've attached my 'upower -d' output from when this is happening, you can see that the energy-full values are way to high. Restarting the upower.service solves the problem.
