Icons dont show up anymore after upgrading

Bug Description

After upgrading Kubuntu from 12.04 to 14.04, a lot icons dont show up anymore, ie at the tab "open new tab" there is only a little white field and a red X at this place. Also all "Folder icons at the bookmarks only have a white field with a red x instead the folder icon.

There is the same Problem described, a lot icons do not show up anymore, at my case it was from most installed Programs.

Post #4 gives the solution

-> try (as root and anyway)
gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders --update-cache

It seems this command was not implemented into the upgrade system and caused the broken Icons.
Please add it for the upgrade process.
