Bug Description

When I ssh into this machine, it says *** /dev/sdb1 will be checked for errors at next reboot ***

But when I "sudo reboot", it apparently does not check /dev/sdb1, and when I ssh in, I get the same message again.

Nothing to do with plymouth, plymouth is the boot-time I/O multiplexer and splash screen. This comes from update-notifier-common; reassigning.

affects: plymouth (Ubuntu) → update-notifier (Ubuntu)

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 692355 which contains some details about how to determine if this is in fact your bug.
