Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-notifier

The detection for a cdrom with distro data is currently broken in edgy. The reason is a bashim in the apt-cdrom-detection script and a problem with gpg that it expects a ~/.gnupg directoy.

The attached patch fixes the problem.

diff seems to work well here.

This should really be released as an update before the masses want Feisty.

The edgy-proposed update has been verified by inserting a Feisty Fawn Herd 5 Alternate CD into and Edgy system with the proposed version of update-notifier installed. I observed a message indicating that an "upgrade volume was detected".
