Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
In Jaunty (904) if the update-manager fails to get updates, a persistent notification occurs in the notification area. When using the new Jaunty update-manager behavior (pop-unders) this should have created a dialog box and not a persistent exclamation notification. This being left in is probably just an oversight but does produce an inconsistency with the new notification philosophy.
