1)Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
2) I m not sure about the package but after $apt-cache policy packagekit
i got:

Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.3.6-0ubuntu4

3)After i had my system updated via update manager a window showed which asked me weather to restart now or restart later and what i chose was restart now but nothing happened as many times as i clicked on it, so i restart my system through system ->shutdown restart

Re-assigning to update-notifier, as that is what displays the restart dialog
