Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-notifier
When you click on the update notification icon and choose "Install all updates" a download progress window apperars.
It would be nice if this window could be minimized.
It would be even better if the window did not appear at all. It does not provide any useful information.
The icon could start spinning instead.
When the download has finished and the installation process starts, another window is displayed.
This window has an annoying tendency to steal focus from other applications.
There is no need to show this window unless the user needs to interact with the installation process.
Happens daily on Ubuntu 8.04
