Bug Description
Hello, 12.04 ESM support has ended; however, on a 12.04 machine, the MOTD still says:
This Ubuntu 12.04 system is configured to receive extended security updates
from Canonical:
* https:/
I think the MOTD should clearly state that ESM support has ended for this machine.
It's a bit late to do anything about this for precise; can we address this before we retire trusty?
Thanks

Hi Seth, although ubuntu- advantage- tools does generate some MOTD messages, we are not currently generating the message you are describing here. I think it is better to tag the update-notifier package in this bug.
However, if you think there is something we can still do on our side, please let me know.
