ii update-notifier 0.61 Daemon which notifies about package updates
It happend that I could not find a program description of the programs 'update notifier' and 'apt-check'. (My hard disk suddenly started working while I did not operate the keyboard. I tried to explore the reason by running top.)
The python script 'apt-check' is a badly commented script.

Thanks for your bugreport.

The apt-check program is a internal helper for update-notifier, it does not need a man page. A manpage for update-notifier would be nice indeed.

Changed in update-notifier:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed
