Bug Description
Made a fresh Utopic installation from mini.iso (ext4, upstart used)
The system is updated/upgraded via synaptic, but update-notifier still pop up with a warning dialogbox begging to install mscorefonts, even if ttf-mscorefonts
Following the dialogbox request i've made several times the download/re-install of mscorefonts (from that dialogbox), but it again ignore it and ask again & again on next sessions.
Running it from a terminal, i'm getting:
oem@u32:~$ sudo update-notifier
[sudo] password for oem:

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10
Package: update-notifier 3.156
ProcVersionSign
Uname: Linux 3.16.0-12-generic i686
ApportVersion: 2.14.7-0ubuntu1
Architecture: i386
CurrentDesktop: GNOME
Date: Wed Sep 3 12:08:58 2014
SourcePackage: update-notifier
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Got that popup again today, after a cold boot and updating/upgrading from synaptic:
Failure to download extra data files
The following packages requested additional data downloads after package installation, but the data could not be downloaded or could not be processed.
ttf-mscorefonts -installer
The download will be attempted again later, or you can try the download again now. Running this command requires an active Internet connection.
Could it be the mandatory "EULA" request not checked ? (that pc have already accepted that EULA when wine1.7 have been used with some apps requiring mscorefonts)
