bad English: "informations"

Bug Description

In update-notifier's tooltip: "There are 1 post-update informations available!"

Firstly, if there's only one, please use the singular.

Secondly, "informations" isn't really a word; "information" is a mass concept,
and doesn't have a plural. This would read awkwardly in the singular, too. I

"There is 1 item of post-update information available!"
"There are 2 items of post-update information available!"

Thanks for your bugreport.

The strings is changed accordingly and uses ngettext() now. It's in the
repository and will be part of the next upload.

Thanks, fixed in the current 0.38.8 upload.

Reproduced in Breezy Colony 3: "There is 1 item of post-update informations
available!". Reopening. A minimal fix would be "There is 1 item of post-update
information available.".

Instead, however, I'd suggest "For advice on recently installed updates, click
here.". Rationale:
* there's usually just one item anyway, so the number of items isn't that
* it explains somewhat better what kind of information it is;
* it explains what you actually need to do to see the information.

Concur with comment #3. Please change "informations" to "information".

Thanks for spotting this. I fixed it in my local tree and it will be part of the
next upload.

I'm afraid I can't change the string for breezy because we are in string-freeze
