Update Notifier "show updates" does not work from live CD

Bug Description

I updated my package lists through Synaptic while booted from the live CD, and
after a while the Update Notifier
appeared in the system tray saying that updates were available. However, if I
clicked "Show updates" and entered ubuntu as the password (which is the case on
the live CD) nothing happens. Trying no password or a different password causes
an invalid password error, so I know it's not that. I'm not sure at this point
whether this effects installed systems or just the live CD. BTW: I'm using live
CD array 3.5

This is very likly a problem with the dependencies of the update-notifier on the
live-cd. The current version of the applet depends on update-manager (older
version os update-notifier only recommended update-manager).

Confirmed that update-manager was missing from the array-3.5 live release.

Also confirmed that update-manager 0.36.4 is present on the current daily live
images.
