As can be seen from the dublicates attached , the crasher occures in different configurations. Virtualbox installations, direct hardware, usb,...

It seems to be induced with a shotwell component, or right after the installaiton of it.

This is a bug in update-notifier triggers, and not ubiquity. Opening appropriate task.
