Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

It's a known fact that Firefox doesn't like being updated while running.
When the update manager updates Firefox, it shows a tip saying that Firefox should be restarted AFTER the update : too late. Firefox had already crashed when it happened today.

I would say that the tip should ask for closing Firefox before the update.

I'm thinking we should really get with MVO on this however firefox doesnt need to be closed for update, it only needs a restart after update is done. Since we dont have any info regaurding this bug i think we should start with the error. we also would need crash report. Is this still an issue with latest firefox-3.0.6? Other than that this bug should be closed since we dont have any info on it.
I'm going to close this bug. If it crashes please use apport to file a bug.
