libnux upgrade from 08 to 10 is preventing updates

Bug Description

I used Synaptic to update everything I could without breaking the system and libnux was all that remained. Updating it and the common files would have removed Unity.

Using the Update Manager, all updates are prevented due to an 'unresolvable conflict'.
