Bug Description
Not sure if this is really a problem with update-manager itself, the linux-image-
I downloaded the 12.04 beta ISO image and created a bootable USB stick with usb-creator. After booting from that, I installed a few extra packages (ubuntu-restricted, rtmpdump, get-iplayer, mplayer) then ran the update manager. The first window said it could only do a partial update for some reason; I continued anyway. After downloading a lot of packages and installing a great many of them, I was eventually presented with the error message:
Could not install 'linux-
The upgrade will continue but the 'linux-
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
