Bug Description

My upgrade to precise just failed because auf py3clean

Preparing to replace debconf 1.5.40ubuntu1 (using .../debconf_1.5.41ubuntu2_amd64.deb) ...

2012-03-08 13:14:18,999 ERROR got an error from dpkg for pkg: '/var/cache/apt/archives/debconf_1.5.41ubuntu2_amd64.deb': 'subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1'

Please run:

sudo apt-get clean

Then try again.

The problem seems to be the py3clean and py3compile script.

After removing /usr/share/python3/debpython/__pycache__ it works again...
