Bug Description
After an upgrade (using the update-manager) from 10.04 (netbook edition)
to 12.04 (development) there seems to be a mixture of GRUB legacy and GRUB 2
packages on my system:
The new 3.x kernels only were incorporated into
/boot/
but the selection shown at boot time obviously is that of
/boot/
which was not changed during dist upgrade and still only
shows 2.6.x kernels.
My GRUB packages:
hans@netbook:~$ dpkg -l | grep grub
ii grub 0.97-29ubuntu65 GRand Unified Bootloader (Legacy version)
ii grub-common 1.99-14ubuntu2 GRand Unified Bootloader (common files)
rc grub-pc 1.98-1ubuntu6 GRand Unified Bootloader, version 2 (PC/BIOS version)
