upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10 failed

Bug Description

When using the command sudo do-release-upgrade -d on 64 bit machine the process failed. Can't remember where is the log file. Don't know what is the problem.

Found the log files under: var/log/dist-upgrade. What i see so far...

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please add the log files from '/var/log/dist-upgrade/' to this bug report as separate attachments? Thanks in advance.

attached please find the file, i made few attempts playing with the xserver-xorg-video with no success.

We need all the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade in order to investigate your problem. Could you please attach the other files from that directory ? thanks

Hello and sorry for the late reply... I hope you still have time to help out.
I have removed all the files from the dist-upgrade dir updated the upgraded the device and did "sudo do-release-upgrade" attached please fine the entire content of the directory.

Thanks for the logs. It confirms that it is a duplicate for bug 874835 and I'm marking this one as duplicate. A fix has been uploaded to Oneiric a couple of hours ago and should reach the archive in the next hours. Alternatively you can workaround this issue by removing the package libcupsys2.

Don't hesitate to submit any new bug.
