update-manager crashed with TypeError in confirmChanges(): glib.markup_escape_text() takes at most 1 argument (2 given)

Running an installed version of ubuntu 11.10 alpha and updating every few days online, I now get this problem of system problem being reported.

CL use of apt-get update, and upgrade works but system problem remains.

Perhaps I need to clean reinstall from daily build?
