Bug Description
I tried to upgrade to Natty, but after making the configurations, and downloading the upgrade, just when the installation began the program froze and began sending a lot of messages about some packages being already installed, and some not, I left it for hours but the installation progress did not advanced a bit and then I restarted my computer, after that I recieved this report among others.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Some of the errors suggest you may have had a disk problem during the upgrade, e.g.:
dpkg: error fatal irrecuperable, abortando: fallo al leer en la copia de búfer de el fichero de lista de ficheros del paquete `linux- headers- 2.6.35- 25': Error de entrada/salida
I'm reassigning this bug to the update-manager package for possible further triaging of the upgrade issue. There doesn't seem to have been any problem with the pam package itself - only that your upgrade couldn't find it.
