sparrowt, You upgraded from 10.10 correct? At what point during the upgrade do you get this message?

I see this as two issues, firstly the update-manager doesn't check for enough disk space (in my case asked for 1770, I cleared 1.8G and it still fell over), secondly when it then runs out of space the message is unreadable and its a total guess as to which box does what on the dialog.

The message btw is while installing packages.

I just experienced the same issue upgrading from ubuntu 12.04 to 13.10. I still have enough space to continue the upgrade but no idea what the message was telling me.

Just met this bug during a 13.04 -> 13.10 upgrade. Luckily the upgrade finished fine but why didn't it warn me about the low disk space before the upgrade?
