installed kubuntu 9.04 upgraded to 9.10 then to 10.04, but when i try to upgrade to 10.10 it gives me an error at the end of SETTING NEW SOFTWARE CHANNELS. The error states the following :
"could not calculate the upgrade. an unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade: E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages. this can be caused by: * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu If none of this applies, then please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in the /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bug report.
The specs for the computer Compaq Presario v6420us, AMD 64 AthlonX2, NVIDIA Geforce Go 6150, 2 gigs DDR2.
